LOCORA Connections is for meeting real people on Vancouver Island. Keep these tips in mind.

Meet in public first. Choose a busy café, market, or community space for initial meetups.
Tell someone your plans. Share where you're going, who you're meeting, and when you'll check in.
Trust your instincts. If something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone your time.
Never send money. Romance scams and advance-fee fraud happen. LOCORA will never ask you to wire money to another member.
Keep personal info private. Don't share your home address, financial details, or passwords in early messages.
Report concerns. Use Report member on any profile, or contact us if you feel unsafe.
Block when needed. Block members from their profile or Settings so they can't contact you.
