Be respectful
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks, slurs, and demeaning language are not.
How we expect Connections members to treat each other on LOCORA.
LOCORA Connections is a community for meeting real people on Vancouver Island. These guidelines keep the space welcoming, honest, and safe for everyone.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks, slurs, and demeaning language are not.
Use recent photos of yourself, accurate age and location details, and a profile that reflects who you are. Misleading profiles erode trust.
Accept “no” gracefully. Do not pressure anyone for photos, meetings, money, or intimacy. Consent applies online and in person.
Connections profiles and messages should stay suitable for a general community audience. Save explicit content for private relationships off-platform, if at all.
Do not share another member’s photos, messages, address, or contact details without their permission. Guard your own information too.
Connections is for people 18 and older. Do not attempt to contact minors or create profiles on their behalf.
Stop unwanted contact immediately from a profile or your Connections settings.
Use Report member on any profile so our team can review the account.
Reach out if you need help or believe someone is in danger. In an emergency, call local emergency services.
We may warn, pause, hide, or permanently remove Connections access — or suspend the entire LOCORA account — when these rules are broken. Serious violations (threats, fraud, exploitation) may be referred to law enforcement. Verification confirms identity and mailing address review; it is not a background check or endorsement of conduct.
By using Connections you also agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
