FOOD ECO DISTRICT, also known as FED, is a Victoria-based charity that cultivates a resilient and regenerative urban food system to increase food security on Vancouver Island. They transform underutilized urban spaces into productive growing hubs, producing fresh and healthy vegetables for vulnerable populations. FED's projects empower community members to grow food and promote sustainable farming practices that strengthen local food systems.
