About this Park

Cape Scott Provincial Park protects one of the most remote and rugged stretches of coastline on Vancouver Island. Ancient Sitka spruce forests meet wild Pacific beaches where hikers can walk for kilometres without seeing another soul.

The park is famous for its multi-day backpacking routes, including the challenging North Coast Trail and the classic Cape Scott Trail to the lighthouse.
